Member update: back on August 21, 2024, lifetime member Thomas Humes bravely faced a stroke while undergoing a procedure at St. Joseph’s. He was then transferred to Upstate Medical University. After a period of recovery there, he was transferred to the Jewish Home in Rochester, NY, where he has been making incredible strides. Recently, the department sent him a thoughtful cheese and fruit basket, reminding him that he’s constantly in the thoughts of his department brothers and sisters. His remarkable progress indicates that he’ll be returning home soon. Today, Treasure Wayne Robbe spent quality time with Tom, who was in an amazing spirit. We continue to send our best wishes for his recovery and eagerly look forward to his triumphant return home soon.
